In Our Creator’s Hands

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Aren’t we so blessed the Father has our days in His hands! Thanks be to the Lord for the confidence and comfort this brings, being children of the Most High.

Re-read the verse in Jeremiah. Go to the Word and read the surrounding passages (which is always a good practice with any verse, to get the context and intent of what is being said). Consider what the Lord is telling us here and how precious we must be to Him.

If you are or have ever wondered what your value is as a person, look to the One Who created you. The Cost for us to be called Daughters of the Almighty was the spilled blood of Jesus Christ on our behalf.

Only our enemy would attempt to convince us on one extreme or the other: Either mankind is self-sufficient with no need for a Savior or worthless, sinful and hopeless. He is a liar the father of lies (technically should be upper case, but I refuse) and there is no truth in him.

Remember, our Father is always mindful of His children! His watchful eyes are upon us constantly! Find peace in the knowledge of His presence!

Psalm 8:4
4 What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Almighty Lord

Father and King

Thank You for this beautiful day

For the breath You give us

Let us send it back to You on wings of praise

We recognize You for Who You Are

Lord of lords

Great Jehovah God

Thank You for the blood spilled for us

Thank You that we can call us Your God

And that You call us Your people

Please give us understanding

About what a tremendous position that is

There could be nothing greater than being Your child

Glory to God in the Highest!

In the Name of Jesus

Glory To God

I Lift My Hands

About voicevessel bwc

First, and most importantly, I love Jesus Christ and I trust in Him as my Lord and Savior. I was raised in a Christian home by a godly dad and mom (who planned and had me in July before turning 42 in August), and 5 older siblings. My father passed away when I was 7 and my mother (who went to be with the Lord in 2005 at 81) never remarried. As a child, I was bullied at school, so I did not have many friends. I didn't want to tell my mom this because I knew she had enough worry being a widow at 50. I know what it is like to be lonely. As an adult, God showed me the value of His Friendship and has blessed me, too, with rich relationships with dear friends who also love the Lord. My husband and I (married 31 years as of 2020), have three wonderful, adult children and son-in-law as well as three darling grandchildren. Along with many others, my husband lost his job, but we refuse to be fearful or angry. The Lord has provided for us and we are so thankful for the opportunity to express gratitude through personal contact and occasional memories I share through writing. I believe the Lord has given me a venue to engage with others and a means to share His Word. Thank you for checking out my page. I hope you enjoy what you read. If there is anything positive or insightful in the devotionals (NOT CALLING MY WRITING "INSPIRED" by any means!), I give all credit and glory to Jesus Christ! On the other side of that, when something makes no sense, that's all me
