Let The Redeemed of The Lord SAY SO!

 O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: for His Mercy endureth for ever.

 Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses.

 And He led them forth by the Right Way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

Oh that men would praise the Lord for His Goodness, and for His Wonderful Works to the children of men!

For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;

 Because they rebelled against the Words of God, and contemned The Counsel of the Most High:

 Therefore He brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.

 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.

 Oh that men would praise the Lord for His Goodness, and for His Wonderful Works to the children of men!

 For He hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and He saveth them out of their distresses.

 He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

 Oh that men would praise the Lord for His Goodness, and for His Wonderful Works to the children of men!

 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His Works with rejoicing.

 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

 These see the Works of the Lord, and His Wonders in the deep.

 For He commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end.

 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and He bringeth them out of their distresses.

 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so He bringeth them unto their desired haven.

 Oh that men would praise the Lord for His Goodness, and for His Wonderful Works to the children of men!

 Let them exalt Him also in the congregation of the people, and praise Him in the assembly of the elders.

 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;

 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.

And there He maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;

And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.

 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

 He setteth the the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.

 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the Lovingkindness of the Lord.Isn’t our Heavenly Father wonderful in so many ways.  He gently shows us who we are while teaching us Who He Is! Unless we recognize the Lord as our Savior, we cannot possibly view ourselves as sinners in desperate need of salvation.  Once we embrace and accept the Truth, that without Christ we are lost, we grow and learn just how vast the chasm Jesus reached, drawing one as wicked and unworthy as us into fellowship and communion with His Righteousness. As the Redeemed, it seems we would sing and shout about God’s great mercy and grace toward us, and our breath would go from us, speaking words of praise and encouragement; Nay, even warnings to those who refuse and reject the Lord, for a day of judgement is coming. Even in this wicked world, with horrible crimes committed every day by the most ruthless offenders, can we really say they deserve hell more than we do?  Our sins cover us the same way, yet we go to the Lord for forgiveness and He gives it to us, through the Power of the Blood of Jesus, not by our own worthiness

Father God

Thank You for this day

Please forgive our sins against You, others and ourselves

Whatever is going on in our lives, Lord, please give our hearts a song of praise to You

You are there when times are joyous and when we have difficulties that seem endless and unsurmountable

Nothing is impossible with You, Jesus

Thank You for giving us the faith we need to persevere

Please let us take hold of that in times we don’t understand what is going on around us or why

We don’t have to know every detail of the plan that You have for us, our family, our friends or this nation

All we need to do is have faith and recognize that You are in complete control

You Are the same yesterday, today and always

And what You do will be for Your glory and for our good

Thank You for our many blessings and please keep our hearts in a constant state of appreciation for all You do

Things we know and can see and things You protect us from knowing.

We love You, Lord

Thank You for Your Beautiful Word

In Jesus Name

About voicevessel bwc

First, and most importantly, I love Jesus Christ and I trust in Him as my Lord and Savior. I was raised in a Christian home by a godly dad and mom (who planned and had me in July before turning 42 in August), and 5 older siblings. My father passed away when I was 7 and my mother (who went to be with the Lord in 2005 at 81) never remarried. As a child, I was bullied at school, so I did not have many friends. I didn't want to tell my mom this because I knew she had enough worry being a widow at 50. I know what it is like to be lonely. As an adult, God showed me the value of His Friendship and has blessed me, too, with rich relationships with dear friends who also love the Lord. My husband and I (married 31 years as of 2020), have three wonderful, adult children and son-in-law as well as three darling grandchildren. Along with many others, my husband lost his job, but we refuse to be fearful or angry. The Lord has provided for us and we are so thankful for the opportunity to express gratitude through personal contact and occasional memories I share through writing. I believe the Lord has given me a venue to engage with others and a means to share His Word. Thank you for checking out my page. I hope you enjoy what you read. If there is anything positive or insightful in the devotionals (NOT CALLING MY WRITING "INSPIRED" by any means!), I give all credit and glory to Jesus Christ! On the other side of that, when something makes no sense, that's all me
