Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Now the Lord does not waste words, so when the Scripture says TWICE, “rejoice”, then what do you get out of what we are called to do?
Take note, NOWHERE does this mention “happiness”, there is a vast difference. Be it in triumph or tragedy, my friends, in and through our Savior, we can R E J O I C E!
Our Creator is The God of joy! Let us always be amazed and in awe of Him!
The LORD is my Strength and my Shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him.
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
