Devotional: Let The Redeemed of The Lord S A Y SO!!!!!!!!

Psalm 107:2-3
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

When we are young and instructed to leave the stove alone, not to cross the street unattended or stay away from strangers, we may not necessarily understand why. Our parents or caretakers were protecting us from potentially hazardous situations.

Our Father in Heaven watches out for us. Although we do not get an “audible” from Him (unless He so decides), through His Word, He warns us about who and what is dangerous and how to handle anything or anyone we encounter.

Do you remember a time in your life when you were spared from something unfortunate? If you can or cannot, maybe nothing comes to mind, just know that constantly there is a war waged against the Lord’s children. The safest place for us to be as believers is under His wings, abiding in willful obedience.

We are redeemed ! Let’s not whisper it, not wanting to disturb others. Let’s SHOUT IT FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOPS.. I AM REDEEMED!

From eternal damnation, our Precious Jesus saved us, now isn’t that something WORTH proclaiming to anyone who will hear?

Physical and spiritual warnings:

Proverbs 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Tender and Loving Father
Thank You for Your

Thank You for the warnings You give us about evil
Both embodied in humans and spirit

We know that in and through You
We have the authority to rebuke wickedness
Please do not find us timid or hesitant to engage

All praise, honor and glory to Jesus
Who left Heaven to dwell with us
All God
All Man
Lived a humble, human life
The Innocent Lamb of God
Suffered a brutal death
As payment for our sins
Was dead and buried

CONQUERED DEATH (hallelujah!)
And reigns with the Father in Glory

We recognize the Holy Spirit
Who guides, directs, convicts and comforts and
So much more we probably do not even comprehend

O Holy Trinity!
How marvelously fascinating You Are!
How we love You

Thank You
For things we know You have done for us
For those we have no idea
Let us not take for granted the enormity of the security
Found by trusting You as our Lord and Savior.

Through the precious blood of Jesus,

HE TOUCHED ME (Who will agree with me, when you’ve been touched by Jesus, you KNOW it!)

About voicevessel bwc

First, and most importantly, I love Jesus Christ and I trust in Him as my Lord and Savior. I was raised in a Christian home by a godly dad and mom (who planned and had me in July before turning 42 in August), and 5 older siblings. My father passed away when I was 7 and my mother (who went to be with the Lord in 2005 at 81) never remarried. As a child, I was bullied at school, so I did not have many friends. I didn't want to tell my mom this because I knew she had enough worry being a widow at 50. I know what it is like to be lonely. As an adult, God showed me the value of His Friendship and has blessed me, too, with rich relationships with dear friends who also love the Lord. My husband and I (married 31 years as of 2020), have three wonderful, adult children and son-in-law as well as three darling grandchildren. Along with many others, my husband lost his job, but we refuse to be fearful or angry. The Lord has provided for us and we are so thankful for the opportunity to express gratitude through personal contact and occasional memories I share through writing. I believe the Lord has given me a venue to engage with others and a means to share His Word. Thank you for checking out my page. I hope you enjoy what you read. If there is anything positive or insightful in the devotionals (NOT CALLING MY WRITING "INSPIRED" by any means!), I give all credit and glory to Jesus Christ! On the other side of that, when something makes no sense, that's all me
